Holstein Mediation – Case Study
Each branding session I do is a new adventure. It is about meeting the client, learning what they need and want, and identifying unique ways to create this imagery. Sometimes, my ideas are a bit off-the-wall, and I’m okay with the feedback that results. Often, these off-the-wall ideas create something entirely unique and scroll-stopping. It is always a collaboration and I appreciate the back and forth ideas with my clients throughout. The goal is always to create photography that is beautifully aligned to a business owners needs so that they are excited to put them to use.
Linda Holstein of Holstein Mediation and writer for Twin Cities Business began her branding journey with Tom Stuenkel of WorkSite LLC to create her new website. With a new website, updated imagery is always a great way to inject new energy and elevate your work in the eyes of clients.
Linda presented a unique challenge in that her clients are established in Minneapolis, but she has since moved to Chicago. Linda has such a multi-dimensional and energetic personality. She is known to be an aggressive peacemaker with a knack for her client relations. We wanted to show off that energy and knowledge, while also connecting with her clients who are mostly working within corporate settings.
We decided the best plan of attack was to split her photo sessions across multiple meetings in multiple locations.
Our first session took us to O’Hare airport, a bit before she was boarding a plane for Minneapolis. We wanted to showcase her travel because it is an integral part of her business, traveling on her own dime to meet her clients in-person. Her work is intense and mediations are settled within a day.
Our second session revolved around her office work to showcase behind-the-scenes. We staged work with a “client” and also captured some more casual, personality images. Of course, a formal headshot was also on the list of needed photos.
After months in the works, I’m so excited to share these images and give a huge congratulations to Linda on the new website!
